Now Accepting Applications – Spring 2026 AUC I‑Corps Program

We are excited to announce that applications are now open for the Spring 2026 AUC I‑Corps Program, a virtual cohort designed to help innovators across Clark Atlanta University, Morehouse College, Morehouse School of Medicine, and Spelman College transform research into real‑world impact.

What is NSF I‑Corps?
NSF I‑Corps is a national program that prepares researchers to explore the commercial potential of their innovations. Through hands‑on customer discovery, assumption testing, and evidence-based entrepreneurship training, teams gain a clear pathway toward the $50,000 NSF I‑Corps Teams award.

Who Should Apply?

  • Faculty and Principal Investigators with federally funded or translatable research
  • Graduate Students interested in innovation, startups, and applied research translation

What You Will Do:

  • Conduct real stakeholder interviews
  • Validate your problem statement with evidence
  • Build a commercialization pathway (SBIR/STTR, licensing, spin‑outs)
  • Leave with an Opportunity Brief and interview log

What You Gain:

  • Eligibility for $50,000 NSF I‑Corps Teams funding
  • Mentorship and access to additional funding programs
  • A collaborative cohort network across the AUC
